Central Lake Erie

12 MP (2848x4288) Digital The shallowness of the lake, the colors of the bottom, and the angle of the sun create these remarkable green hues.  Near the center of the photo is Long Point, Ontario, and right across the lake is Erie, Pennsylvania.  It's mid-March of 2012 and the snow cover is already gone from the southern Great Lakes. At first I thought I'd made a serious color-correction error, but then I saw this picture of Lakes Erie and deep-blue Ontario, taken a few seconds later.
