Before and after what?  Just 45 seconds.  This is a great example of how rapidly the view from orbit changes, and how ephemeral sunglints are.  It also shows how slowly wave patterns change; the details are almost identical in both photos.

Incidentally, the ISS was 200 miles closer to the island in the second photo; the camera had a zoom lens.
