This is a cropped version of a 205 megapixel photo-scan.  The original photo is 19,702 x 10,426 pixels and would be more than 65×35 inches if printed.  The TIFF file is 589 megabytes, and the NASA database lists 2,162 such photos.  They were taken with a survey camera aboard the Shuttle Challenger in October, 1984.

Since Infrared photos capture invisible light, the colors are arbitrary.
